ABOUT DEB

Deborah (Deb) Krawiec, National Certified Counselor, (NCC) is the founder of Arrow Career Consulting LLC, and is an insightful and inspiring Career Consultant and Counselor. She has worked with all levels of employees and brings to her consulting sessions not only a knowledge of job search strategies, but an understanding of the business world.  

For over 25 years, Deb has worked within the outplacement industry, primarily for the premier outplacement firm Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH), where she held the position of Vice President/Career Coach. Over these years, Deb helped her clients achieve successful transitions after experiencing a company layoff or reorganization through strong counseling skills and business insights. In addition to working within the field of outplacement, Deb worked for years within Staffing Services, where she identified talent for short/long term assignments and within Higher Education, working as a Career Advisor and Adjunct Professor.

Deb’s experience is expansive. She has successfully coached numerous adults who are mid-career as well as young adults early in their career. She understands what Recruiters are looking for, and her clients have benefited from these insights. 

Industries in which Deb’s clients have worked include Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Health Care, Insurance, Defense and AeroSpace, and Financial Services.  This list represents just a small segment of industries. 

While at LHH, Deb was acknowledged for contributing to the successful implementation and management of several high-profile career centers across the country.  As an experienced trainer/facilitator, she created numerous career management seminars to meet the needs of diverse audiences. As a project manager, she worked with organizations to create a plan on how to support not only their exiting employees, but their existing employees after a company-wide reorganization. She has motivated teams to achieve positive outcomes through her strong leadership skills. She was a four-time recipient of Lee Hecht Harrison’s “Presidents Award for Exceptional Team Performance.”  

Deb holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from UConn. She is a CAPT Qualified Administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, certified through MRG in Strategic Leadership Development, Leadership 360, and has extensive experience in working with a number of career assessments that include the Strong Interest Inventory and Focus2 Career Assessment.

Her professional affiliations include The Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut (HRACC), the Connecticut Counseling Association (CCA) and the Connecticut Career Counseling & Development Association (CCCDA). She also remains an active volunteer within her community.
