Deborah (Deb) Krawiec, National Certified Counselor, (NCC) is the founder of Arrow Career Consulting, a LLC, and is considered to be an insightful, inspiring and experienced Career Consultant and Counselor by many of her clients. She has worked with all levels of employees and brings to her consulting sessions not only a knowledge of job search strategies, but an understanding of the business world.
For over 20 years, Deb has worked within the outplacement industry, primarily for the premier outplacement firm Lee Hecht Harrison, where she held the position of Vice President/Career Coach. Over these years, Deb helped her clients achieve successful transitions after experiencing a layoff or a company re-organization through strong counseling skills and business insights. She has also worked as an Adjunct Professor, and has been successful in teaching young adults effective job search skills.
Industries in which Deb’s clients have worked include Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Health Care, Insurance, Defense and Aero Space, and Financial Services. This list represents just a small segment of industries.
The profile of her client is one that may have over 20 years of work experience or may have just under four years of experience. Her clients are either transitioning from their company or considering a career change.
While at LHH, Deb was acknowledged for contributing to the successful implementation and management of several high-profile career centers across the country. As an experienced trainer/facilitator, she created numerous career management seminars to meet the needs of diverse audiences. As a project manager, she worked with organizations to create a plan on how to support their exiting employees after a companywide reorganization. She is known to be highly organized, have strong leadership abilities, and motivate teams to achieve positive outcomes. She was a four-time recipient of Lee Hecht Harrison’s “Presidents Award for Exceptional Team Performance.”
Deb holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from UConn. She is a CAPT Qualified Administrator of the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator and has been certified through MRG in Strategic Leadership Development, Leadership 360. She has also used extensively the Strong Interest Inventory.
Her professional affiliations include The Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut (HRACC), Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) and the Connecticut Counseling Association (CCA).
